  • Pursuit races
  • Junior Races

Additional events may be organised for time to time – these will be advertised on the website, the programme being updated periodically.

The full race programme can be found from the top Menu: “Programme”

2014.08.09 Regatta 9All racing is held under ISAF Rules including prescriptions of the RYA, the relevant class rules of the competing boats and Calshot Sailing Club pdfSailing Instructions. Results are calculated using The Portsmouth Yardstick Scheme, details of this handicap system can be found here and the handicap numbers used for club races can be found here. Members and bona-fide guests can take part in any club race regardless of age.

The club relies on all members to take turns at Officer of the Day (OOD) duties to provide successful racing – training sessions are run throughout the year to ensure that everyone is familiar with the procedure. We also team up experienced with the less experienced to ensure knowledge is passed on.
